Background and Mission
Stohl Environmental was founded in 1988 and originally focused on helping Public School Districts comply with the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) and its regulations. After nearly thirty years of service to our clients, we have grown to be Western and Central NY’s largest and Most-successful environmental consulting firm, specializing in Inspections, Remediation Planning and Project Monitoring for: Asbestos, Lead-Based Paint, Mold / Microbial Contamination, Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCB’s), Radon, and Indoor Air Quality.
Additionally, our experienced personnel have helped define the industry standards for “Due Diligence Investigations”. Stohl Environmental’s efforts always include a follow-through on all phases of investigation and remedial efforts, when necessary.
We serve a broad cross section of regions with a team of multi-disciplined professionals. Over the past 30 years, Stohl Environmental has served as the Environmental Consultants for over 300 School Building Capital Projects in the WNY area. We are experts in the field, and our work is highly regarded by regulatory agencies associated with school projects including: NYSED and NYSDOL Asbestos Control Engineering Services.
